The Winter|22 collection was the first collection I realized there was a pattern in my work, that I had an artist style.

Candid photos and written words.

Building an image using graphics and illustrations has always given me the feeling of too many options. Too many directions I could take on my quest to tell the viewer a story. I never knew where to start and it complicated my process.

But people and their nonverbals, i.e. body language, communicate, with ease, a story or feeling. Recognizing this simplified my style choice, where as now photos that express the human experience have become a staple in my work.

These visuals, when captured the right way and at the right time, amplify an emotion. Writing on those images gives that emotion direction.
